About sexually transmitted diseases

Sexually transmitted diseases (CYBH) are infections caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites transmitted through sexual contact. It is a common but often difficult topic to talk about in women's health.

A significant portion of these infections are watched for a long time without symptoms, so the lack of complaints does not mean that there is no infection. Early diagnosis is decisive in terms of both the person's health and the protection of the partner.

How to protect?

The highlights in conservation are:

  • Regular and accurate use of barrier methods (condoms)

  • Regular gynecological control and screening tests when necessary

  • Evaluation of vaccination in infections with vaccines such as HPV

  • Evaluation of the partner together in case of complaint or doubt

  • Even if complaints pass, the control is not impaired.

Don't delay because you have trouble talking

The most common situation we encounter in this topic is the difficulty in bringing up the subject matter rather than the complaint itself. Your consultations are conducted on a privacy basis; we decide together which test is required.
