What is an Infertility Assessment?

This title covers assessments that investigate the reasons why pregnancy does not occur in couples who wish to have children and determine the appropriate treatment step. Infertility; A year under 35 years of age is defined as the absence of pregnancy despite unprotected and regular intercourse for six months aged 35 and over.

It is a common misconception that the cause belongs only to the woman; So we do the evaluation as a couple from the start. This journey can be emotionally exhausting; We consider it an integral part of the process to explain what is being done at each step.

In what cases is it applied?

There are also situations where we recommend evaluation without waiting to fill the time:

  • One year under 35 years of age, 35 years of age and over Six months of trying, but the pregnancy does not occur

  • Menstruation disorder or lack of menstruation

  • Known polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis or past pelvic infection

  • Recurring low story

  • Ovarian, tube, or uterine surgery

  • Known sperm problem in partner

  • Asking for information on egg reserve before planning pregnancy

What services does it cover?

The Samsun tube doll and infertility title contains four pages. Infertility (infertility) treatment describes the assessment that deals with the whole of the couple; The hysterosalpingography (HSG) covers the structure of the uterine cavity and the study of whether the tubes are open.

On the treatment side, insemination treatment (IUI) is available with ovulation treatment and follow-up. From which step to begin; The age is determined by the time it takes to try and the results of the study. Some couples have enough to support ovulation and some couples have enough vaccinations; When the tube baby step is deemed necessary, the process is planned along with the reproductive-assisted treatment center.

Process and privacy

First-step examinations are simple: sperm analysis in the male; hormone tests in the woman, an ultrasound evaluation of egg reserve at the beginning of menstruation and a hysterosalpingography if deemed necessary. We discuss the results with the couple, in an understandable language.

In our practice in Samsun, these talks are conducted on a privacy basis and without being rushed. We talk openly about what options are on the agenda and the limits of each, and we make the decision together after informing them. In some cases, we also say that the most accurate step is not the next step, but a scheduled trial for a certain period of time.

Frequently asked questions

If possible, coming together will shorten the process. Because a significant part of the reasons can be male-sourced or co-examination, first-digit examinations are planned together for both parties; Sperm analysis is at the beginning of these examinations.
